The Norwegian Forest Cat is a lovely familycat
who love to play and cuddle. It's a big cat, the males are
normaly between 5-7kg and the females between 3-5kg.
The head is triangular, where all sides are equal. Long, straight
profile without break in line. The chin is firm.
The ears have good with at the base. The placement are high and
open, so that the outer lines of the ears follow the line of the
head down to the chin. They have lynx-like tufts and long hair
out of the ears.
The eyes have an alert expression, they are large, well open and
slightly oblique.
The body is long, strongly built with a solid bone structure.
High on the legs with the hind legs higher than the front legs.
The coat is semi-long with a wolly undercoat with is covered by a
smooth, water repellant uppercoat.
The tail is long and bushy.
